Bollywood superstar and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, a franchise of Indian Premier League, Shah Rukh Khan could be banned by Mumbai Cricket Association from entering the Wankhede Stadium for life after he got into an ugly spat with the officials at the end of the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Sources said that the Bollywood star had an altercation with security men and MCA officials and threatened them as well. Khan allegedly abused the MCA security personnel and MCA officials after the IPL match. The actor arrived with a group of about 20-25 people at the stadium after the match between KKR and Mumbai Indians had ended and tried to get into the field of play. When the security guard tried to stop SRK and his friends, they allegedly attacked the security guard.
MCA Treasurer Ravi Sawant, speaking to various media personnel, alleged that Khan and his friends were in an inebriated state and as they had manhandled and 'abused' security men and MCA officials, the association plans to ban him for life from entering Wankhede Stadium and to lodge a police complaint against him.
Sawant also said that a similar complaint would also be lodged with the BCCI officials....
